About us
Welcome to WildAJA – where health meets happiness. About us.
Do you feel how silent and calm it is on the website WildAJA, no adds, no banners, no videos? This is how I see healthy foods – they calm your mind, nourish your body, and enrich your soul. About us.
Like many of us, my journey to WildAJA began with a quest for a healthier life. I’ve dabbled in various diets and sports apps– Noom, Kilo, 8fit, Mediterranean, Atkins, and many more. While offering short-term solutions, these diets left me craving something more sustainable.
My love for psychology opened a new chapter in my life. After completing the Academy of Psychology in Lithuania, I started to understand that self-love was the missing piece. Then, Dr. Gundry’s book found its way into my home, offering me a glimmer of hope. For the first time in months, I saw sustainable results without punishing my body, feeling hungry, or succumbing to the cravings for sweets.
My ideal weight didn’t last, but the belief in myself did. I knew that I could achieve my goals without compromising my well-being. I can do it, I can achieve it, I CAN!
As I embarked on my nutritional journey, I delved into my spiritual world. Discovering Mindvalley after reading Jose de Silva’s book on the Mind Control Method opened my eyes to the power of manifestation.
Throughout my life, I’d often manifested my desires – better job opportunities, meeting wonderful people, and even predicting the actions of my friends. It seemed like magic, but I knew it was the universe aligning with my thoughts.
One day, as I was manifesting my desire to lose weight for good, the universe seemed to answer. The next day (no kidding), I received an email from Mindvalley announcing their Wildfit program, which promised to teach me everything about nutrition, weight loss, and maintenance. The catch was the price, which was quite a sum for me (800 EUR or so). I thought, “damn, universe, thank you, of course, but could the opportunity be less expensive?” :). Oh well, at least they had a two-week trial – so I thought I’d take my money back if it’s not worth it.
Three months later, I was amazed. My headaches had vanished, my skin issues were history, and I felt more energetic than ever. Even though I’d lost only 3 kilos at the end of the program, I knew I was on the right path. Eric Edmeades and the Wildfit coaches helped me conquer my sugar cravings and other dietary demons. I stopped drinking coffee. I gave up dairy products. I haven’t been sick for two years, not even with a simple sniffle.
This journey begins with the crucial task of understanding yourself. It’s not just about shedding pounds; it’s about unraveling the layers of your habits, emotions, and relationships with food. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution in this quest. You need to tailor your approach to suit your unique self. In pursuing a healthier you, understand this: it’s a journey, not a quick fix. Like Aerosmith’s song suggests, life’s about the journey, not just the destination. The most important lesson I learned was that nobody is perfect, including me, and that’s perfectly okay. What matters is knowing how to get back on track.
Two years later, I shed 10 kg and maintained my desired weight, +/- 3kg :). Celebrations and “health camps” occasionally came and went, but I now knew how to nourish my body and feel awesome inside and out.
And this is the story of how WildAJA came to life. I realized that many fellow Wildfitters struggled to find healthy recipes, especially during the Spring season when the diet mostly consists of meat and bitter veggies. The lack of recipe ideas bothered me during my own journey. So, when manifesting a new business idea, the concept of creating a healthy recipe portal was born.
“Ajá,” according to Wikipedia, is an Orisha, the spirit of the forest, animals, and herbal healing. In her forests, she would find plants with medicinal properties and mix the herbs, roots, and other plant parts to find cures for the sick. She held the secrets of botany and shared her knowledge with humans, waiting for someone to come and find her. This inspired the name of this portal – WildAJA, dedicated to promoting a healthier humankind.
“Healthier humankind” became my evolutionary purpose, and I believe this portal will expand beyond its initial mission to share healthy recipes. The future holds endless possibilities – from other healthy eating styles like keto and paleo to subscribing to weekly menus and shopping lists, and even local restaurants delivering healthy options to your doorstep. The journey has just begun, and I’m excited to see how it evolves, driven by the initial idea of how to truly love oneself.
Join me at WildAJA and embark on your journey towards health, happiness, and self-love. Together, we’ll make the world healthier and happier, one recipe at a time.
