natural sweetener (honey, erythritol, xylitol, agave syrup or others)

Preparation:

Preparation time: <15 min.
  1. Peel the carrots and cut them into thin sticks or slices - whichever you prefer.
  2. Melt the butter in a heated pot and add the carrots. Pour half a glass of water and cover with the sweetener of your choice. Cover and cook on medium heat for about 5-6 minutes.
  3. Uncover the pot, cover with lemon juice, and cook for another 4 minutes until the water evaporates and the carrots are soft.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
