Preparation:
Preparation time: 15-30 min.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the cauliflower florets and boil for about 5-7 minutes until they become slightly tender. Drain the cauliflower and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the boiled cauliflower to the pan. Sprinkle with sea salt (and pepper if using).
- Fry the cauliflower in the pan for about 10-15 minutes, tossing occasionally, until it starts to develop a golden brown color and a crispy texture.
- Sprinkle the almond meal over the cauliflower in the pan and continue to fry for an additional 5-7 minutes, ensuring that the cauliflower becomes fully golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the pan, and if desired, season with additional salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
