Ingredients:

Number of portions: 6
2 Tablespoon(s)
Tahini
2 Tablespoon(s)
lemon juice
2 Tablespoon(s)
maple syrup
1 Tablespoon(s)
roasted sesame oil
2 Centimeter(s)
or 1 inch square piece of fresh ginger, minced (½ teaspoon dried)
1 Teaspoon(s)
turmeric,
1 Clove(s)
garlic, minced
1 Handful(s)
fresh cilantro or basil, chopped finely
1/2 Teaspoon(s)
Himalayan salt
1/2 Cup(s)
water

Preparation:

Preparation time: <15 min.
  1. Add garlic, turmeric, ginger, tahini, lemon juice, maple syrup and salt to the blender.
  2. Blend it all together well at a high speed, until smooth.
  3. Slow down the blender but don't stop it. Pour the oil slowly into the blender from the top. This helps the oil mix in with the lemon juice and spread all over the tahini.
  4. Next, repeat the process with the water by pouring it in slowly to blend it with the other ingredients.
  5. Add the cilantro or basil and pulse several times to combine.
  6. Choose the thickness by adding more water if needed.
  7. Leave it aside for a minimum of 15 minutes to cool in the fridge, allowing the flavors to blend together.
