Preparation:
Preparation time: <15 min.
- Rehydrate Seaweed: Soak the dried wakame seaweed in warm water for about 10-15 minutes or until it becomes tender. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sugar, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Adjust the sweetness and acidity to your taste.
- Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the rehydrated seaweed with the sliced green onions. Pour the dressing over the seaweed and toss gently to coat.
- Chill: Refrigerate the seaweed salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve: Before serving, sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the salad. If you like a bit of heat, add red pepper flakes to taste.
