Preparation:
Preparation time: <15 min.
- Heat the oil in a medium pot over medium-high heat.
- Add the onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until it turns soft and translucent.
- After that, add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
- Put the cauliflower and vegetable stock (or water) into the pot. Cover it with a lid and allow the cauliflower to steam for approximately 5 minutes until it becomes tender.
- Transfer all contents from the pot to a blender (a high-powered blender is preferable but any blender works).
- Blend on high until a smooth consistency is reached.
- Add the remaining ingredients, starting with 1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast and 1 teaspoon of salt. Blend again thoroughly.
- Taste the mixture and adjust by adding more nutritional yeast or sea salt if desired. Enjoy this creamy cauliflower sauce!
