Preparation:

Preparation time: <15 min.
  1. Heat the oil in a medium pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until it turns soft and translucent.
  3. After that, add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
  4. Put the cauliflower and vegetable stock (or water) into the pot. Cover it with a lid and allow the cauliflower to steam for approximately 5 minutes until it becomes tender.
  5. Transfer all contents from the pot to a blender (a high-powered blender is preferable but any blender works).
  6. Blend on high until a smooth consistency is reached.
  7. Add the remaining ingredients, starting with 1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast and 1 teaspoon of salt. Blend again thoroughly.
  8. Taste the mixture and adjust by adding more nutritional yeast or sea salt if desired. Enjoy this creamy cauliflower sauce!
