Ingredients:

olive oil

large onion, thinly sliced

cabbage head, chopped (around 2-3 cups)

minced meat (I love 50/50 of pork mixed with beef)
Acc. to taste
Seasoning for minced meat or your favorite herbs, salt

tomato paste
1 Can(s)
(250 ml) of peeled and chopped tomatoes

Preparation:

Preparation time: 30-60 min.
  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and fry for 3 mins, until onion has turned golden.
  3. Add minced meat to the pan and fry for 5 mins. Add your favorite herbs and salt.
  4. Add chopped cabbage and half of cup of water and bring to the boil. Mix well, add some more salt if needed. Lower to a simmer and cook on gentle heat covered for 5-10 mins. or until cabbage achieves your desired softness.
  5. Add tomato paste and chopped tomatoes. Cook for another 5 mins.
